Eurosport readers were split in whether Novak Djokovic or Rafa Nadal would win the French Open.
With several thousand votes cast, just a handful decided the outcome of our poll with both Djokovic and Nadal recording just over 1,100 votes each.
Andy Murray , winner of the Rome Masters, was third with just over 500 votes, and Kei Nishikori - the Japanese player who is having an outstanding season - fourth on 200, 30 votes ahead of defending champion Stan Wawrinka.
In the women's event Serena Williams led the way - but not by much, recording just 66 votes more than second-favourite Simona Halep, the Romanian's recent win in Rome ending a barren spell and seeing her re-establish herself as a force to be reckoned with.
Victoria Azarenka and Garbine Muguruza were distant third and fourth-places respectively in the voting.
