U-20 AFCON Qualifier: Flying Eagles win in Bujumbura

The Flying Eagles made a winning start to the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifying series, beating hosts Burundi 1-0 in Bujumbura on Saturday afternoon. 

The scoreboard was reading 0-0 when both teams headed into the interval, but it changed when the Flying Eagles grabbed the winning goal in the second half.
The Flying Eagles had to use their skills to outscore the “grown men” Burundi paraded in an U20 AFCON qualifier in Bujumbura, officials said as per AfricaFootball.
Ex-Golden Eaglets star Agor Chukwudi broke the deadlock in the 64th minute of the contest at the Prince Louis Rwagasore Stadium.
The Emmanuel Amuneke-led side will face the Burundi U20s at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar in the return leg next month.
Nigeria are the defending champions of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations after beating Senegal in the 2015 final.
