Arsenal has submitted a 65 million euro ($72.9 million) offer to Real Madrid for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The report claims that Madrid is ready to activate the 23-year-old’s €32 million buyback clause in order to sign the striker as it already has the Gunners’ bid lined up.
Morata joined Juventus in July 2014 for €20 million and has won Serie A twice during his time in Italy.
The Spain international has scored 11 goals in 46 appearances this season.
