Reports: Ginola hospitalised after falling ill in France

David Ginola has been taken to hospital in France after falling ill, according to media reports in France.
It was reported that the retired French player had suffered a heart attack on a football pitch in Mandelieu in the south of France, but there were conflicting reports after he collapsed amid hot conditions.
Ginola later said on Twitter: "Footy match in the midday sun, not very clever. Now having some tests done. Whoever voted for a World Cup in Qatar in the summer?"
French publication Nice-Matin claimed he was unconscious but stable and has been moved to the Princesse-Grace hospital in Monaco.
Ginola, 49, recently touted himself to stand for FIFA president, but has been seen as a television pundit in the UK after winning 17 caps during his playing career
He turned out 58 times for Newcastle and 100 times for Spurs in a career spanning 17 years that ended at Everton in 2002.
