Guardiola targets Wilshere, Sanchez and Rose in raid on rivals
Pep Guardiola is considering audacious bids for Jack WilshereAlexis Sanchez and Danny Roseaccording to the Mirror. The report says that the incoming Manchester City boss will be looking to utterly revamp the squad, targeting players from title rivals. Wilshere is believed to be the linchpin for Guardiola's new midfield, while Alexis Sanchez is set to shake things up out wide for the Blues. Danny Rose has been targeted due to City seeking to boost their quota of 'home grown' players as per UEFA regulations, and to help replace an aging defence.
Paper Round's view: Most definitely a bold move, weakening rivals while boosting your own squad. But it'll be interesting to see if those players mentioned can play possession heavy style Guardiola is after. Wilshere and Sanchez have played 'pretty' football at Arsenal before, but Pep's style requires a whole new learning curve and increase in intensity.
Spurs target 'next Didier Drogba' in £20m swoop
Mauricio Pochettino is looking to target Basel's Breel Embolo with a £20 million Premier League move, according to the Sun. The teenager is believed to be, or at the very least compared to Didier Drogba in both size and strength on the ball. The rationale behind the move is not only do Spurs believe he's one for the future, but they're keen on spreading the workload from Harry Kanewith additional Champions League duties next season. The 19 year old Cameroon born Embolo has played two strong years in Switerzland, with 20 goals in 58 starts to his name.

Paper Round's view: Embolo will be a good player, it's just Spurs going forward with this move have to expect not too much too early. He is a great investment, although it'd be wise to have another mature back-up striker so there's three strikers sharing the load for league, Europe and cup competitions. Expecting Embolo is start and perform in 15 odd games when Kane is resting, is perhaps a tough ask for a 19 year old.
Hammers face uphill battle keeping Reece Oxford from City and Arsenal
West Ham will be spending the summer convincing Reece Oxford to knock back offers from Manchester City and Arsenal, according to the Daily Mail. 17 year old Oxford is believed to be one of the best young talents in the league, with West Ham hoping their new European presence and Premier League standing can keep him at the club. Oxford is believed to be worth about £10 million and has two years left on his current contract, as City and Arsenal try to pry him loose.

Paper Round's view: Oxford should stay where he is. Although Guardiola does like to play youth and Arsene doesn't mind throwing youngsters in the deep end, getting lost in the shuffle at bigger clubs happens so often with young talent. He still has two or three years to make his mark at West Ham, and the offers from the bigger teams will keep coming if he delivers on the promising start to his career.

Leicester are looking to bolster their squad stocks, eying goal scoring midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea according to the Sun. The 26 year old Sigurdsson was one of the better performing players for Swansea this season, leading creative attacks and finding the back of the net nine times from midfield. Ranieri is eying off Sigurdsson, as Swansea manager Francesco Guidolinclaimed last week other clubs were keeping an eye on him too. Sigurdsson has two years left on his contract at Swansea.
Paper Round's view: Sigurdsson is one of those reliable players that despite not being an out and out star, there is always effort and positive output shown. In Claudio's team unit, Sigurdsson could become quite a weapon for Leicester and gives the club some depth for their Champions League campaign.
