Youngster, Victor Osimhen is now a major injury concern for Nigeria ahead of an U-20 AFCON qualifier in Burundi after he pulled a serious shoulder injury in a test game against the country’s Olympic team on Thursday.
Osimhen, whose goal sunk Dream Team VI 2-1, was forced out of the match played at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja, after he pulled his left shoulder following a clash with his marker .
The 17-year-old striker was in serious pain and subsequently had an ice pack around the affected left shoulder.
A proper assessment of the injury will be done by the next 48 hours as per Africanfootball.com.
