Chelsea want banned Terry to lead team out amid contract limbo

Chelsea have reportedly asked the Premier League if John Terry can lead the team out against Leicester City on Sunday despite being suspended.
The Times's Matt Hughes claims Chelsea have taken the unusual step as Terry considers a contract offer from the club.
The defender has been offered a one-year contract extension, but it is believed he will have to take a pay cut and will no longer be considered a first team regular - described by Terry as "a different role" in an Instagram post.
Terry received tributes from figures such as Gianluca Vialli and Frank Lampard at Chelsea's end-of-season dinner on Friday - and was reportedly too emotional to take to the stage.
Willian was voted player of a disappointing season for the outgoing Premier League champions.
Eden Hazard's strike against Tottenham, which clinched the title for Leicester City at Spurs' expense, was voted the club's goal of the season.
